It’s been a week since I’ve posted. There hasn’t been a lot going on, other than our trip to the cardiologist yesterday. Billy is doing great. The doctor mentioned several times how much better he looked than the last time he saw him. I breathed a sigh of relief, yet again.
Sister Sally sent me some pictures that niece Emily sent her from New York. Emily, some will remember, is attending New York University and studying drama. Sally’s family lives in St. Louis, so snow is not unknown to them, but perhaps not like the storm now hitting the Eastern seaboard. Here’s the view from Emily’s dorm.
In case I missed it, Sally sent a close-up of the car in the picture.
Emily and boyfriend Alex ventured outside, and got a picture of themselves smooching in the snow.
Awww. How wonderful to be young in a New York blizzard.
Well, not to be outdone, Bakersfield must have gotten two or three hundredths of an inch of rain today. The temperature dropped from about seventy yesterday to sixtyish today. Somehow, I thought El Nino might do a bit more . . .
