The weather’s been beautiful the last few days, without the extreme heat, and plenty of people have been taking advantage of it to ride. Here are some from about sunset yesterday.

That’s a mother-daughter pair on their palominos. That’s a color that looks particularly good in the golden light.
We’ve had several storms go through in the last month or so, but so far none have produced the predicted rain — at least, not for us. I have hopes for the one forecast for Friday, though. That’s the day of Sarah’s graduation from Bakersfield College. And it’s outdoors. That ought to do it if anything will.
