Here’s something we haven’t seen in a long time . . . fog!
It’s not much of a fog, as such things go. In a real San Joaquin Valley tule fog, you couldn’t see the fence, let alone the horses. Still, it’s a sign there is finally some moisture in the air.
The old poplar tree, foreground for so much dramatic weather in the past few days, seems a bit lost in the fog.
These were from yesterday. Today there was only a little haze, and it’s going to be warmer and drier as the week goes on.
Billy is doing a little better each day, though he still is not comfortable nor able to get around easily. Still, he’s a lot better than either of us expected after his fall yesterday. We got lucky. I’m still staying close, though, and I’ll miss my knitting group tonight.
I started a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup, though. That ought to do the trick!
