Planting on the Preserve   Leave a comment

Marion and I rode out to inspect the new plantings on the Panorama Vista Preserve.  They’ve been busy!


You can see they’re working on the water system that will (hopefully) keep these baby plants alive until they can root to water.  And someday there will be water!


It really felt like fall today; cool, with high clouds.  You could see the mountains, too.



I took this shot of Marion’s nice straight back and EZ’s rear without noticing Peaches was in the picture, too.  She is so nearly the color of the soil that she’s camouflaged pretty well.


It was a cool ride, especially when we turned for home.  I wore long sleeves for the first time since early spring.  It should be the first of many pleasantly cool fall days.
