The Long and the Short of It   Leave a comment

Or the tall and the short . . .

Marion, Janey, and I went for a ride yesterday, and a good time was had by all.  Marion took several pictures.  I was most struck by those which showed the size difference between Janey’s horse Canada and my Kitty.  Now, admittedly Canada’s in front in all of these shots, but still, you can see there’s a definite difference.

Here we are with the water backed up at the weirs as a backdrop.

In this shot, you can see the weirs themselves in the background.  We didn’t cross on this particular day.

Here we are headed down the trail.  Canada is taller, broader, heavier — bigger in every way than little Kitty.

But there is one equine around that makes Kitty look tall — little Bella.  Sarah has started riding her, and they are doing well.  Here they are, looking business-like.

I’ll have more about them tomorrow.
