A good ride this morning, with Sarah, and a busy afternoon shopping, plus knitting tonight, haven’t left much time for blogging.  So here are a couple of pictures from the river a few days ago.

The monkeyflower has mostly gone to seed now, leaving what you might call monkeypods.  I liked the contrast they made with the dark river water at sundown, and took a couple of pictures.

The water seems opaque and inky at this time of day.

I’ll be off to do a little quiet knitting with the Knittsie Chicks in a couple of hours — quite a change from the riverside!
