Marion and I rode out this morning, and were joined by boarder Cheryl. It was an unexpectedly cloudy, cool, and breezy morning. We had a near-perfect ride (a little more grass would have made it perfect). Marion took some pictures, which she was kind enough to send me.
The clouds were dark and ominous, but they were dry.
It was breezy enough to blow our hair and the horses’ manes and tails around. (Note to self –Get back on that diet!)
It was still and quiet down by the river.
And the river is still green and lovely.
Despite the drought, the elderberries are flourishing this year.
Yes, it was a great ride. Thank you, Marion!
