Spring Flowers   Leave a comment

I was planning on a ride today, but the wind came up.  It is a good idea to ride when there’s no telling what may go blowing under your horse’s nose, so that plan was shot.

Instead, I got a few flower pictures.  It’s rewarding to take extreme closeups, and the Canon does a good job with that.

Here’s a pansy . . .

And a columbine . . .

And a tulip.

Just for fun, I made a mandala from the pansy, with Paint Shop Pro’s kaleidoscope effect.

The wind is going down a bit now, and some clouds are coming in.  They’re moving fast; you can see them going by the window.

It may not be a good riding day, but it’s certainly been beautiful.
