Outside at Last   Leave a comment

It’s been almost a month since I’ve been able to get out and give my equines some attention, but I finally made it today.  Bella was the first, and she seemed more than happy to get out and sail around the round pen.

Boarder Lisa, watching, commented that from a distance, you can’t really tell that Bella is a pony.  She moves as freely as a good-moving horse.

I know I’ve shown many pictures of Bella in the round pen, but it has been a long time since the last.  Notice the wet dirt.  I was smart enough to get out and water things down before I turned her out.  The dust doesn’t do anything for the lingering cough that seems to go with this flu.

The air quality isn’t anything great, either, though it’s supposed to be better today than it will be all week.  One more picture, in which the haze over the river can be seen.

If you can see haze this close, you know the air quality must be poor.  No relief in sight; the prediction right now is that we may see no rain at all in January.

But it’s still nice to get out and about once more!
