It’s Not Peaches   3 comments

This is a picture of her sister.  Her breeder’s daughter kept her.

She looks like her fur might be a bit longer than Peaches’, but she’s the same buffy color.

This isn’t Peaches either.  This is our good old Cider at about the same age.

This is Peaches.  I thought it would be interesting to try for a shot as close as I could get to the one of Cider, all those years ago.

There’s certainly a difference in color, but both are allowable in Goldens.  Peaches looks to have a longer nose, but that could be a difference in angle.  She also appears to have darker eyes, but that might be due to contrast with her paler coat.  One thing is sure; they’re all great dogs!

And one thing hasn’t changed a bit in eleven years; our living room.  And my knees — I was even wearing the same color of pants.

I don’t think they’re actually the same pants . . .

  1. Lovely! 🙂

  2. Elizabeth here…I am not getting your bog updates in my email anymore and I don’t know why…that is one of the best parts of my day. Peaches is gorgeous. I would love for Peaches to meet Mollie and Wilson…and Woodson the golden (almost white) lab across the street…and Cash the chocolate next door and Zac the black lab…we have such a nice neighborhood both people and dogs and cats. She is beautiful!!! Come for visit or we will come with dogs.
