Hitching Rail   1 comment

The nice people at Panorama Vista Preserve just installed a hitching rail for the convenience of their horsey friends.  Here are builders Mary and Daran with their finished product.

I believe this picture — I love the golden sunset tones — was taken by Andy Honig, one of the preserve’s great supporters.  The hitching rail looks great; many are too low.  Now let’s hope many horse people use it while helping out at PVP!

A last comment about that crash yesterday — after the red car sped off, two fire engines showed up.  They were obviously looking for the wreck — which had left. Someone who saw it must have called it in, not realizing what had happened.  They did the right thing, but one driver’s carelessness cost our first responders some wasted time and money.
